- Selection and comparison of angle beam probes by ultrasonic waves frequency with the error of ±10% in the range of 1,25-5 МHz.
- Measurement of probe angle with the error of ±1°.
- Determination of ultrasonic beam emergent point position with the error of ±0,5 mm.
- Evaluation of dead area size.
- Check of depth gauge operation accuracy of flaw detector with the error of ±10% by SО1 and ±8% by SО2.
- Evaluation of equivalent defect area.
- Evaluation of beam resolution of flaw detector when operating straight beam and angle beam probes.
- Evaluation of wedge angle of angle beam probe with the error of ±2,5°.
- Determination of conditional sensitivity and equipment setup for the given calculated value of ultimate sensitivity with the error of ±1 mm.
